I was born and raised in the hardworking city of Chicago, the proud son of Puerto Rican parents who instilled in me the values of resilience, respect, and family. In our home, we didn’t just learn to work hard we were taught how to survive.
My mother made the courageous decision to move our family to Florida, determined to raise her children in a safer environment with more opportunities. That one decision became the foundation for everything that followed.
Like many others, I grew up without access to financial education. No one ever explained how credit works, how to build wealth, or how to prepare for retirement. I faced financial hardship multiple times, often wishing I had a mentor to guide me.
