FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we comply fully with both the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

We follow all legal guidelines to ensure transparency, accuracy, and fairness throughout the credit repair process. Our goal is to protect your rights while helping you improve your credit the right way.

No, we are not attorneys. However, legal help is not required to repair credit. We use proven, legal strategies to challenge inaccurate or unverifiable items with the credit bureaus.

We offer three credit repair packages, each designed to meet different levels of service based on your credit goals. However, we understand that every credit situation is different, that’s why we can tailor-fit a plan to meet your specific needs and budget.

In some cases, clients don’t need full credit repair. Instead, they may benefit more from a strategic credit-building plan. For example, some clients have never established credit before, while others have repaired their credit and are simply looking to rebuild and strengthen their credit profile. We’re here to guide you with the right tools, resources, and personalized support and no matter where you’re starting from.

There are no hidden fees and no long-term commitments—just honest, customized service designed to help you reach your financial goals.

Credit repair is legal in all 50 states, though some states have strict regulations. We follow all state-specific laws and remain fully transparent about our services and fees.

How Credit Repair Works

We analyze your credit reports, identify inaccurate or negative items, and send dispute letters to credit bureaus and creditors on your behalf. We then follow up and adjust our strategy based on responses.

  • Free consultation and credit review
  • Credit monitoring setup
  • Customized dispute plan
  • Sending out disputes
  • Monthly follow-ups and updates
  • Ongoing support and education

We challenge inaccurate or unverifiable:
• Late payments
• Collections
• Charge-offs
• Repossessions
• Bankruptcies
• Judgments
• Hard inquiries
• Public records

Accurate and verifiable negative items—even if they hurt your score—cannot be removed until they expire based on credit reporting time limits.

Here are a few examples of items that cannot be removed if they are accurate and verified:

  • Late payments (reported correctly)
  • Collections or charge-offs (still within the 7-year reporting period)
  • Bankruptcies (reported correctly within 7–10 years)
  • Student loans, foreclosures, or repossessions (if accurate and legally reported)
  • Open or closed accounts with accurate negative history

We can, however, help you dispute inaccurate information, negotiate resolutions, and build a strategy to offset the damage with positive credit-building tools.

Timeline & Expectations

The full process usually takes 3 to 6 months, but timing depends on the number and complexity of the items on your report.

Most clients see initial changes within 30 to 45 days, though complete results may take longer as bureaus respond.

Results vary. Some clients finish in 3 months; others may take longer depending on their specific situation.

It can. Removing negative items and improving your credit profile can lead to higher scores—especially when paired with smart financial habits.

Results vary by individual. Some clients see increases of 50 to 100+ points. We can't guarantee a specific score boost.

Credit Education

Yes, you can check your credit for FREE. You’re entitled to one FREE credit report every 12 months from each of the three major credit bureaus—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion—through AnnualCreditReport.com. However, keep in mind that while this site provides your credit reports, it does NOT include your credit scores from the major Credit bureaus: Equifax, Trans Union and Experian.

The free reports from AnnualCreditReport.com provide a one-time, yearly snapshot of your credit history and do not include your credit scores. In contrast, SmartCredit offers ongoing benefits such as daily credit monitoring, real-time alerts, access to all three credit scores, identity theft protection, and interactive tools to track and improve your credit. The monthly fee gives you consistent access and proactive protection that a once-a-year report simply can’t provide.

You’ll get real-time alerts, identity theft protection, and tools to track your credit progress. Plus, it helps us fix your credit faster by working with the most up-to-date info.
